Have you considered sharing your innovative thinking and state-of-the-art practice with the About Campus readership? Administrators, faculty and student affairs colleagues could benefit from your expertise in advancing student learning.
About Campus articles use an engaging format intended to reach a broad audience. Of particular importance is our motto that learning is everybody's business; in other words, manuscripts are most useful when they are written to appeal to all members of our readership. To assist prospective authors, we offer extensive Author Guidelines (PDF) that specify the focus and length of articles for each department of the magazine, explain the review process, and introduce copyright agreements. We also offer a Writing Worksheet for authors to use as they craft an article.
Sample articles are also available online at here.
Our editorial process is collaborative - we prefer to work with authors at the conceptual stage to identify direction and focus. We also engage in multiple revisions throughout the process to produce the substantive and engaging articles you read in About Campus! If you would like to discuss a manuscript idea for About Campus, contact us here or contact the appropriate department editor. The editorial team welcomes your inquiries.
We hope you will consider writing for About Campus!
