PROGRAM STATEMENT

The Department of Educational Administration and Policy at the University of Florida offers a PhD and EdD in Higher Education Administration.

For doctoral students admitted to the Higher Education Administration program, there is an opportunity to pursue higher level administrative positions on college campuses. Doctoral students are advised to have two years of full time professional experience in higher education before being admitted to the program. There is also a concentration in community college administration.

The department has also developed an On-Line Doctorate of Education (Ed.D.) with 2-3 face to face meetings per semester.
