SHEPHERD UNIVERSITY MASTER'S PROGRAM
GENERAL PROGRAM INFORMATION
PROGRAM STATEMENT:
The Master of Arts in College Student Development and Administration is a 36 credit-hour program designed for students who have completed a baccalaureate degree and are interested in pursuing a career in Student Affairs or Enrollment Management. The program combines courses in student development theory, assessment, and research methodologies with practicum experiences in Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at both 2- and 4-year institutions.
PROGRAM MISSION :
The Shepherd University Master of Arts in College Student Development and Administration prepares individuals who demonstrate interest in and commitment to college student and their development through higher education. Graduates of the Program will be prepared specifically for professional administrative positions in student affairs and enrollment management within postsecondary education. Graduates of the Program will demonstrate depth and breadth of knowledge of the profession through integrated coursework and supervised practica.
PROGRAM UNIQUENESS:
Courses are offered in the evening and weekends to accommodate students hold full-time jobs while completing the program.

APPLICATION AND ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates for regular admission to the CSDA program must have the following: a) a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning AND a 2.75 GPA in all undergraduate course work OR b) 440 Verbal and 560 Quantitative on GRE or 40 on MAT. Provisional status may be granted to applicants who do not meet GPA or exam requirements.
