PROGRAM STATEMENT

The program is designed for individuals who are seeking a practical learning experience rather than a formal concentration in theory and research; practitioner-based, with an emphasis on professional development and on working directly with student affairs professionals on campus; and provides a quality learning environment with faculty who are engaged in teaching, research, and service. The program is 38 credit hours. Graduates are well-prepared for a variety of careers in higher education, as well as for doctoral studies in areas such as Higher Education Administration or Educational Leadership.
