Vernon A. Wall
Senior Director for Professional Development, Research & Scholarship

As Senior Director for Professional Development, Research & Scholarship, Vernon implements the strategic initiatives of the association through providing quality professional development opportunities for members and educators of the profession. Vernon is responsible for program development (planning, organizing and directing) and implementation of ACPA educational programs such as institutes, symposiums and conferences. He also serves as the liaison to all editors and publishers. Vernon works closely with the volunteer directors of research and scholarship and professional development to assess member needs and program offerings. Vernon joined the ACPA International Office in April of 2008.
 
Prior to ACPA, Vernon accumulated 20+ years of professional student affairs experience at Iowa State University, the University of Georgia, University of North Carolina-Charlotte and University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He has experience in Greek life, new student orientation, student activities, leadership development, global education and university housing. He received his B.A. in Political Science from North Carolina State University and his M.S. degree in College Student Personnel Administration from Indiana University.
