ACPA is proud to offer this new and exciting professional development event starting September 15 through September 17 at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida, for those who are considering a Senior Student Affairs Officer (SSAO) role as a future career goal. The ACPA Institute for Aspiring SSAOs: Exploring Underrepresented Identities and Career Paths will explore ways in which our diverse backgrounds (such as gender identity and presentation, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and physical/cognitive qualities) impact our move to and experience within an SSAO role. The University of South Carolina and ACPA's Commissions for Housing and Residential Life and Assessment and Evaluation welcome you to Columbia, South Carolina starting October 20 through October 23 for this immersive professional development experience. Sessions offered at RCI are designed both for institutions new to the residential curriculum approach and for those wit more advanced experience. Read more.
ACPA Supports Ending Native American Imagery As Sports Team Brand
ACPA passed a resolution to support eliminating the use of Native American mascots, logos, symbols and personalities by colleges, universities, and other sports-affiliated organizations. The purpose of this resolution affirms ACPA’s core values and supports healthier campus climates for all students, specifically Native American students. Read more.

Code of Ethics Consortium Committee
Nine student affairs associations have agreed to participate in The Code of Ethics Consortium Committee to discuss and review current ethic statements with the desire to determine if it is possible to produce a unifying Code of Ethics for the profession. Read more.
ACPA Innovation Grant Applications Are Now Available!
ACPA is pleased to announce the availability of grant funding to promote INNOVATION within our association through the exploration of new, novel approaches to our current practices. Innovation Grant Applications are now available online.
